MonstahMag “Cabin Fever” Art Show & Maker’s Market

MonstahMag is seeking unique artists and makers to participate in our upcoming Cabin Fever event on March 6th & 7th at the Whaler Inn in New Bedford, MA. Please review the information below carefully.

Requirements

-All items sold must be made by you.

-No resale, drop-shipped, or mass-produced items permitted.

-We are looking for dark, macabre, and horror-leaning artists and makers whose work fits the MonstahMag aesthetic. This includes (but isn’t limited to) horror art, gothic illustration, dark fantasy, occult themes, monsters, the strange, the unsettling, and the beautifully grotesque. This is not a general craft fair. Submissions should align with a darker tone and be appropriate for a horror-focused audience.

-For the Art Show Spaces: all submitted work must be one-of-a-kind originals, and no resale or mass-produced items are permitted.

-Payment will be due upon acceptance, and spaces are not reserved until payment is made. ALL UNPAID INVOICES WILL BE CANCELED TO MAKE ROOM FOR NEW APPLICANTS. Please do not apply if you aren't ready to pay.

Filling out this form does NOT reserve a space at our event. We will be contacting all approved vendors via email once the jury process is complete. We try our best to get back to everyone weekly, PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER if you haven't seen a response from us.

Maker’s Market Tables

Friday & Saturday Setup - each space is 8 ft x 6 ft. Vendors must bring their own 6-foot table; chairs will be provided. Includes 2 artist passes to the Friday Night Gala - $150

Saturday Only Setup - each space is 8 ft x 6 ft. Vendors must bring their own 6-foot table; chairs will be provided - $100

(Artists and makers may apply for — and be accepted into — both the Art Show and the Maker’s Market)

Art Show Spaces

Artists will be provided with a 4 ft x 2.5 ft table and a 4 ft x 4 ft backdrop for hanging artwork. All artwork must be displayed for both Friday and Saturday, though artists are not required to be present, as MonstahMag staff will handle all sales on their behalf. Artists will be paid at the end of the event. An Awards Ceremony will take place Friday at 9:00 PM during the Gala. All submitted work must be one-of-a-kind originals, and no resale or mass-produced items are permitted. Includes one artist pass to the Friday Night Gala. - $75

If approved, an invoice will be sent to the email address provided. Payment will be due upon acceptance, and spaces are not reserved until payment is made. ALL UNPAID INVOICES WILL BE CANCELED TO MAKE ROOM FOR NEW APPLICANTS. Please do not apply if you aren't ready to pay.
